Analysis: I had to read the extended offer a number of times until I understood it – as far as I can make out the 50% discount extends to Holiday Inn Express Hotels too during this period.

 What: The Rewards scheme changes again, is this now an annual event as we faced a devaluation this time last year? Previously each brand had its own range of redemption values, with the new scheme the brand is no longer important. It’s too early to find out which category a hotel falls in to, but the categories are as follows. Full details on the Priority Club website are here.

Folks, get in there quick – the new points break list has been updated. Now valid for stays until 31st January 2013.

Although it has to be said – it’s the poorest list for a longtime.

Analysis:

The only benefit I could find is that this rate allows you to cancel up to 24 hours before - which the advanced rate does not allow. Otherwise this rate is a waste of money!

London Park Lane 14-th to 16th December

I checked this out at the Holiday Inn Oxford – with the offer the total cost was £124, using the best alternative rate it came to £198 both for an executive room – so definitely worth doing!
