Does this mean if I have 4 stays in this period I can redeem it four times?

Maximum four (4) rewards per household during the promotion.

Do you know why this offer wouldn’t appear on my my the priority club rewards website?

It doesn’t show on mine either. It seems to be the same scenario as last year with the register, stay two weekend nights, submit the redemption form, and receive the gift card.

Wasn’t last years $75 up to $300 or am I losing it?

Yes last year it was $75…they are getting cheap. You have to make sure you book AFTER you register. I booked a stay early and had to cancel and rebook to make sure I get credit. They should make it so the stay occurs after registration not the booking for us early birds who do not like to take a chance that a hotel will be booked.

do you have to fill out a new rebate tracking form for each one, or can you submit all four under the same tracking number at different times?

I just went to register for the $50 rebate and saw they have a $75 weekend rebate available as well:

Thumbs up for the $75 weekend rebate. Looks like it can be redeem x 4 = $300. I’m guessing this is in addition to the $50 Travel bonus x 4 = $200. So $500 total?

When attempting to register, it does not allow me to enter my email add. It states, “email address already in use, please try another email add”. ??

Has anyone received the cash card for a stay that was booked before registering for the promotion even though the terms and conditions stipulate otherwise?

    My case:
    1. Booked stay based on promotion I’d seen (I’m new to IHG/PC from Marriott Plat)
    2. Realized I hadn’t actually registered, so I did.
    3. Just checked rates to be able to un-book and then re-book, rates have risen!
    4. Now realizing promotion rules!

Considering that stay was booked to redeem this promotion, I may just go back to Marriott, even though they don’t have a beachfront property in that location.

What a hassle! Has anyone had any luck? I stay mostly overseas IC properties, and they have rejected 3 of the 4, saying the confirmation number was not printed on the hotel invoice. What BS-like I have control over what the hotels print. Anyway, resubmitted the application with the CNs (no way to get these from the account activity that I can see, they just list the stay and PC points given) so will see what happens. On the other 1, they say approved but of course nothing yet-will probably take 6 months or I forget-whichever comes first. This rebate program stinks, they make it a horrible hassle and then don’t honor their offer.

Thanks, I have many stays upcoming so I should achieve the max 200. Is it best to mail in the items each time I stay the required two nights, or wait until I can submit all 4 groups of two nights?

I’m paranoid that if I do the former, who knows, they’ll say you registered for the promotion once and we paid you once or something.

Send them in as you earn them. I got a gift card for a stay I had in May with a recent one valid and waiting for final processing. Judging from the time it took me to get it…it looks like about 6 weeks to process. Unless you want to wait 6 weeks to get them all at once sending them as you earn them appears to be just fine from my experience.

This is our first time using registering for these cards. Am I understanding right that you have to register, print off your reservations from your account then wait until after your stay and mail in your receipt with other paperwork? Thanks

    @Dave
Yes Dave you need to register and print the registration confirmation page, I normally print four and keep them in my laptop bag.
Then go to http://www.ihgrebate.com and click the Pre-Submit Rebate button and follow the instructions and print out the resulting rebate form.
Then send all three (rebate form, registration page and receipt) to the address on the registration page you printed out.
Keep a copy of each rebate form or the barcode number on it then you can check the status by going to http://www.ihgrebate.com and clicking the track rebate button.
Then it’s just a waiting game.

Here is what you have to do:

    1. Register
    2. Book a Stay
    3. Submit a form to get your rebate
    4. Print Registration, Hotel Bill and pre-filled form
    5. Mail

You do not have to print the reservations from your account…just the hotel bill. I just got my second $50 gift card so submitting separately is perfectly fine. It took about 6 weeks for my first rebate and only 4 weeks for my second one.

  1. No trackbacks yet.
