there are still no new point break hotels so far. nothing exciting to expect. are the marketing people sleeping because it’s winter time?

Instead of going to Hyatt, perhaps you can consider Marriott. With your Marriott points, you can stay in Ritz Carlton now. It’s better to spend one night in Ritz than two nights in Hyatt. You can upgrade your experiences. Ritz are REALLY different. They don’t treat you like a valued customer – they treat you like royal. In their club lounge, you would assume those around you are C-level executives, not middle managers or working rich or working poor. When I was having a Sunday brunch in Ritz Paris (now probably not part of Ritz group), the restaurant manager talked to me like the movie Pretty Women the manager talk to Rich Gere. Even in Four Seasons Beverly Hills where this movie was shot, they don’t treat you this way. Ritz treats you with the kind of sincere respect that no other hotel can paralell.
