Point Breaks – Back on again

November 14th, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

Point Breaks are now available to book again after a short suspension – looks like the technical team beat their 18th November target!

Previously:

Plizatnum: Point Breaks has been temporarily disabled due to a glitch that seemed to allow PCR members to book $30 rooms using the web-only Points + Cash option. Though the list of PB hotels offering 5K point redemption nights has been removed, word has it that the list will return on or before 18-November.

Point Breaks have been updated today! In the USA, 35 US PB hotels are showing available through the end of February, including a Crowne Plaza in the Dallas, Texas area – just 25 miles from this year’s Super Bowl on 5-February! May be a good idea to book it, and auction it off – if you can’t make the trip. Hotel rooms like those at the Crowne Plaza are going for $400 that weekend…kinda surprised the hotel is participating in the Point Breaks promotion next month.

The list of stays is valid for less than 5 weeks out, which makes this update Priority Club’s second consecutive update to only last for about a month. Normally, PB deals are good for an entire quarter (3/4 months) – not for a month.

    Happy Booking!!
