This offer appeared in my inbox today, so I decided to compare the rate of the offer with the standard rate to see what you could expect (Sat 25th April was my chosen day and I went for an Executive Room)! Is it worth the extra – well if you’re going to use the hotel facilities why not – but if it’s just a base for exploring Paris then probally not. Although don’t forget those bonus points will help towards your status target!

Club lounges – the little piece of heaven away from the riff-raff. Enjoy complimentary drinks and nibbles all day long. Normally you have to pay a good premium to access the club lounge – but this one-off offer will get you access as part of your normal rate!

Really good savings to be had here, the one warning is that these rates don’t qualify for Priority Club Points, so if you want the points more than the savings then book a different rate. Obviously worth comparing this against the “Advance Purchase Rate” which has the same no-refundable policy and does award points and counts as a qualifying stay.
